Journey of Movies 
Thomas Edison and William Friese-Greene invented the first movie camera.
Although the start of the history of film is not clearly defined, the commercial, public screening of ten of Lumière brothers' short films in Paris on 28 December 1895 can be regarded as the breakthrough of projected cinematographic motion pictures.

From black and white movie to colour movies and from colour movies to 3D and VFX effect movies, the journey is still going on with lot of new inventions.

Indian Movies

The first full-length motion picture in India was produced by Dadasaheb Phalke, Phalke is seen as the pioneer of the Indian film industry and a scholar of India's languages and culture. He employed elements from Sanskrit epics to produce his Raja Harishchandra (1913), a silent film in Marathi.

 Even Indian Movies i.e Bollywood is developed a lot and movies like Robert 2.0 and Bahubali proved it.

Earlier movies were just made for entertainment purposes or to spread awareness about some social issues.

But now everyone look at them in different way, some try to gain knowledge from it and some relates it to their life and get attached to that movie emotionally.

The craze for movies have increased to a large extent that it has become a big entertainment industry.

Eg: 

This year one Hollywood movie for Marvel called 'Avengers Endgame' released last month which made cores of rupees in India  being a foreign movie.

This shows the power of movies, if they are good then they will be definitely appreciated by people.
